The Girl on the Grow is transforming teachers into garden coordinators who will not only teach students in the garden, but coordinate garden programs to build and make the most of outdoor learning labs. In the Sprouting Minds Academy we’ll coach our candidates through a year of professional learning which will include:

An intensive & fun 3-day summer academy with goal planning, direction on how to start a certified On the Grow Garden, lessons, & more!

Hands-on garden training in every session.

Fun, monthly Professional Development sessions to learn what to do every month in the garden.

Monthly on-campus coaching sessions to provide individualized support for you and your garden.

A cohort of garden coordinators to share ideas.

Downloadable materials for in-garden lessons.

Connections to leading environmental resource organizations such as NWF to enhance student learning.

Implementable STEM and literacy skills.
